Pioneer Resort

The Pioneer Resort is a unique fishing and family experience. It will take you back to a simpler time centered around early mornings casting for the big one, slamming screen doors as kids run to the lake with their inner tubes, and evenings of s’mores around a campfire. The Pioneer Resort opened to guests around 1937 and has been (almost) held in time ever since, to provide guests a modest and affordable “place at the lake.” Your new hosts are Ben and Kenia Olson. Ben is the grandson of Earl and Margaret McNea who had continuously owned and operated the Pioneer Resort since 1976.
