Island View Resort on Nest Lake

Island View Resort overlooks Nest Lake offering 1,000 acres of water for your favorite activities – fishing, boating, skiing, swimming, canoeing, etc. All the cabins sit nicely on a hillside in a bowl shaped area which leads down to the sandy beach. They are complete with household items, linens, and bathrooms. Our 13 cabins have spacious decks for privacy and are located close to the lake or offer a beautiful view. FREE with each cabin are paddleboats,tv w/cable,canoes, kayaks and hydrobikes. There is a recreation room, a convenience store with videos and games,and a playground area.

Nearby are five golf courses, the Glacial Lakes hiking/biking trail, and many shops with unique crafts, gifts, antiques, and quilting supplies. Start your day with a complimentary cup of coffee, sit by the sandy beach and listen to the loons calling, enjoy a pontoon cruise around the lake, or watch the kids fishng from the docks. End the day around your campfire (there”s one at each cabin, and the firewood is FREE when available) as the sun sets from across the lake.

Looking for more “to do”s”? Each Friday evening the National Champion Little Crow Water Ski Team performs in New London”s Neer Park. Spicer has minature golf, movie theater, and lots of other things to do. Sibly State Park and the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center offer nature programs and ample hiking/biking trails. Tour the buffalo ranch, the county historical society, vintage automobile, or boat museums in nearby Willmar.
