Our award-winning Alexandria, MN resort is located on the sandy north shore of Lake Villard, where we have offered fun-filled lakeside family vacations for over 100 years!  We have eleven impeccably maintained lake front cabins that can accommodate up to 22 guests.  Canary Beach Resort also offers overnight and seasonal campsites.  The quiet, shaded, park-like grounds are the home away from home for our neighborly RV guests.

The secret to Canary Beach Resort is in our name!  Enjoy the 1,000ft of natural sandy beach – the finest beach in Pope County since 1920.  This groomed shoreline is the perfect spot for sand castle building, lounging while enjoying the sunshine or reading a book, all while watching your family and friends slide down the 10-foot Free Fall Water Slide!  Many amenities are included with your stay including free Wi-Fi resort-wide, Lake water park, paddle boards, kayaks, paddle boat, canoe, volleyball, tetherball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, barrel train and hay rides!  The lodge includes a store with basic groceries, ice cream, ice, bait, firewood and clothing for all ages!
