As a four-season resort, we anxiously anticipate the coming of each season.

In the summer wander, down to the white, sandy, soft beach nestled between the lofty pines and enjoy the openness of the waterfront and playground area.  Swimming in the sparkling clear water of this famous chain of lakes is an incredible experience.   Children of all ages will love the shallow water at Pine Beach Resort and the many fun water toys; countless hours will be enjoyed on the Rave trampolines, Whoosh pads, and other lake toys.  Memories for a lifetime are made with fun-filled summer days centered around the beach.  We work very hard to make our guests feel welcome and at home. We are a small Northern Minnesota family resort. If you enjoy hanging out at the lake, sitting by a campfire, birdwatching, fishing, hiking, sunbathing, or just reading a good book- give us a call or text Kim at 218-969-9127.  We have five beautiful cabins awaiting you.

Fall and Hunting

If you love the changing colors of fall when they are framed by towering pines and reflecting off of the crystal, clear lakes see us in September or early October.  There is something magical about a pontoon ride around our five stunning lakes in the fall. Nearby the resort is a vast expanse of public land. Take advantage of it when you arrange to stay at Pine Beach Resort for your next hunting trip. Bear, grouse, small game, and deer hunters of all ages are welcome.  When you’re not in the woods or the stand, come back and enjoy your comfy warm cabin complete with Wi-Fi and all the comforts of home.  Hunting dogs are welcome and treated like the royalty they are.  If you are traveling from out of state and or need some extra help making your hunt successful, please contact Kim at Pine Beach Resort.

Every winter mother nature magically transforms Northern Minnesota from summer playground to winter wonderland for snowmobilers and all winter enthusiasts.  Let our backyard take you to your next winter wonderland adventure; our trail systems will blow your mind.  Attention: snowmobilers, we are at the center of the TACONITE Trail.  As our guest, you can use all of our snowshoes, sleds, toboggans, snowboards, and CC skis free.  Within a 5 minute walk are Side Lake’s lighted ice skating rink and an excellent sledding hill.    Attention: birders check out the Sax-Zim Bog we can set you up with a cozy cabin and an excellent guide, or point you in the directions of an incredible birding experience.

check out the Taconite, Arrowhead, Tim Corey, Circle T and Circle L and many more northern MN trails L

Located at the center of the Taconite Trail, we are surrounded by hundreds of miles of groomed trails. Snowmobile enthusiasts let Pine Beach welcome you to the heart of Minnesota snowmobiling.

Spring is a peaceful and gentle time at the resort.  The world seems to become green overnight; new life is everywhere.  Momma and pappa Eagle are traditionally the first to return, as soon as the river opens up.  Hearing a loon return home is a heartwarming sound and usually can be heard on the same day as ice out.  Kayaking and canoeing are slower and quieter this time of year, and you find yourself looking for all kinds of new life everywhere.  It does get a little noisier, once the Trumpet Swans return.  Guided river paddles available for all ages.

Trumpeter Swans wingspan can exceed 10 feet

Kids of all ages WELCOME, and we are dog-friendly.  Regardless of the season, Pine Beach Resort is ideally suited for families. Summers make way for lake days, beach time, boat and pontoon rides, and water toys. Fishing for walleyes, northern, bass, and panfish put smiles on faces.  Summer afternoons lead to beautiful sunsets, grilling dinners outside, and campfires.  If you forget the s’mores fixings, Pine Beach Resort will help you out. While winters allow for endless snowmobiling, snowshoeing, CC Skiing, ice fishing, sledding, tobogganing, and ice skating.

A bass this size will put a smile on!

Pine Beach Resort has 32 campsites, and we lease permanent campsites yearly; this includes warm weather usage and winter storage.  We have filled every site for the last 20 years; we do not have a waiting list per se. We keep applications on file (apply on our website), because of the unique size and space of each site, this is our starting point for choosing the next guest we will invite to join our campground family here at Pine Beach. When we have an open site, we immediately go to the applications and look at rig size, family size, and about 30 other things that filter into our final decision, so I encourage you to make an application if you would like to join us.  Our campers park their rig and make their sites their summer homes.  Ready whenever they can getaway.  They explore and enjoy the Sturgeon Lake Chain and magnificent Pine Beach Resort. Become part of the family and enjoy all the perks of having your permanent site set up and ready to enjoy all summer season long.
