We are located among the white birch, mighty oak, and tall pine trees on beautiful Kitchi Lake. North of Minneapolis on the famous CASS LAKE Chain of Lakes! Our lake is a smaller 1,758 acres & is just a very short boat ride through Pug Hole into the larger Cass Lake 15,596 acres and chain of lakes. Here you will be able choose from fishing & boating on EIGHT DIFFERENT LAKES plus the Turtle River and the mighty Mississippi River! Our chain has many different types of fish including Bluegill, Crappies, Sunfish, Jumbo Perch, Large Mouth Bass, Walleye, Northern Pike, & Muskie. Located just 200 miles north of Minneapolis, 130 miles from Grand Forks and 150 miles from Fargo makes this the perfect Northwoods location.
We are a fishing, camping, family & pet friendly resort with 9 clean & cozy cabins, a playground, screened porch with games, and our rustic Elusive Walleye bar. We offer most of the amenities as the big resorts without the big rates. We also have a campground w/full hookups for nightly, weekly, monthly, and seasonal campsites from May 1 to October 15.
I grew up at Kitchi because my parents, from Plainfield, Illinois, bought Kitchi Landing Resort in 1969. My husband, Eric, is from Ft. Wayne, Indiana. We met in Las Vegas, NV and moved our two children from there to live on the lake and to buy the resort from my parents. So this resort has been in our family for over 43 years and we would love to have you as our guests!
