Only two hours north of the Twin Cities, Campfire Bay Resort is a family owned-and-operated resort sitting on the pristine shores of Fish Trap Lake in Central Minnesota. With a calm, family-friendly environment, we invite you to kick back, relax, and unwind. Take a boat out and fish for trophy walleye, northern, and crappies. Compete with (or against) your kids in fun-filled activities scheduled throughout the week. Chat with other resort goers around the fire, and meet some of the Sams family too! Choose from one of our twenty cabins, ranging from two bedrooms to four, with full wifi access and Roku TV perfect for streaming on family movie nights. Each cabin sits at lake level, resting 15 to 150 feet from the water. Our most secluded cabin, the Eagle’s Nest, is the only exception: with its home on the hill above our resort, guests at the Eagle’s Nest have a secluded overlook with a personal fire pit. Enjoy cozy up-north decor, full kitchens, fireplaces, patios, and decks, and of course the clear night sky. Don’t know what to do?
