Smith Lake is a beautiful and inspiring vacation spot. The lake is spring fed and is known for the pleasant woods surrounding the lake which provides a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The lake is 650 acres in size and has water depths ranging to 40 feet. The lake is about 1 1/2 miles long and 3/4 mile wide. There is excellent fishing for sunfish, crappie, largemouth bass, walleye, and northern pike. Panfish can be caught off the dock so mom can relax while watching the kids fish. There is a very clean and odor free fish cleaning building. You can swim on a safe, sandy beach with a water slide. Playground area has swings, merry-go-round, volley, badminton, horseshoe, and a sandbox. There are also swing sets and a sandbox in front of the cabins. Cabins are paneled or knotty pine. They are all 2 bedrooms but can sleep up to ten. They have a fully equipped kitchens with microwaves and coffee makers. All cabins have hot and cold running water, private bathrooms and showers. Bed linens are furnished. Bring your own bath and dish towels. All cabins are nestled under huge trees with a lovely view of the lake. All cabins have cement patio’s, fire rings, picnic tables, and charcoal grills. All cabins have air conditioning. There are pontoon, boats, motors, and a paddle bike available for rent. We have gas, oil, bait, tackle, pizza, some groceries, pop, beer, ice cream, candy, souvenirs, and ice for sale.
