Kimp’s Kamp

Kimp’s Kamp is a small, relaxing, family resort located on Yaquina Bay on the north shore of Dead Lake in the heart of Ottertail County’s 1,000 lakes. You’ll find us three miles southwest of Dent, Minnesota on County Highway 35, about 200 miles northwest of the Twin Cities.  Originally called Elk Inn, it was bought by the current owners’ grandparents and father in 1944, renamed Kimp’s Kamp Resort, and has remained in the family…now 80 years!!  We have 13 two, three and four bedroom, air-conditioned cabins that all face the lake.
